Hiya everyone, sorry the diary is late, Small Mum wouldn't let me anywhere near the computer.

This week has been loads of fun. I was even allowed into the house for a bit. Because Small Mum loves me to jump stuff, I showed her how clever I was by jumping on the kitchen table and onto Big Mum's bed.
Small Mum was so pleased she started shouting at me

I had a great time yesterday, the forest was full of people on small, buzzy bikes. I tried to catch them all and Small Mum said she was going to go and get a shotgun.

Today I went to the club with Small Mum. I still have to wear Mr Spiky around my neck

my brother was there too, and heck, I thought I was grumpy but he is much grumpier. The trainer bloke took me and Small Mum and my brother and his Dad and made us walk past each other and sit as the other walked past. I was a really good boy and Small Mum didn't have to use Mr Spiky at all.

I showed my brother how much easier it is when you're not grumpy - you get given sausages and everything! Maybe he will see how clever I am and start to act like me.
Small Mum was very happy and apologised for saying she wanted to shoot me for trying to chase the buzzy bikes yesterday.

Right, must go - hope you have all had a good week, what did you lot get up to?

Hi B,

Sounds like you were very good at that club thing - My mum took me when I was about a year old as she thought I could be badly behaved - hah! she changed her mind when we were there - I was one of the better ones in the class!! hehe!

I'm absolutley exhausted as mum had Friday off work so I went for 3 walks with different friends, then yesterday I went for another walk and then spent the day patrolling the garden fence as the hoodie kittens that live in the barn keep trying to sneak in when I'm not looking!! Then my friend, a boxer came round with her owners for supper so we both curled up on the sofa together for a snooze. Today I have been pootling around the yard and fields (keeping one eye open for the hoodie kittens!) and now am trying to sneak upstairs to bed without being noticed!! Was hoping to have a nice long sleep tomorrow when mum is at work but apparently she is here all day tomorrow too - I'll be knackered as I have to follow her around just in case I miss something!!

Hi all
grin.gif

I've had an exhausting week! Just as I was recovering from my exploits at the beach last week, the Female one dragged me off to "Granny and Granpa's" (have no idea what that means, but the wretched thing kept saying it!!).

I don't mind it too much, there are 6 other Spaniels there, but they all reckon I'm too young, I showed them, though bit one right on the snozz for trying to nick my dinner

I am positive there is something else that lives there, but it gets smuggled upstairs when I'm around

Apparently I'm not allowed to chase "Thecat" (I'm not sure what a thecat is though??).

I got to go for a walk with the other dogs, and showed them how well I've got the Female trained, everytime I go to her she gives me a treat, it took awhile but she seems to be a quick learner.

The V word was mentioned, but thankfully, it was that large beast the Female insists on sitting on (poor thing!), apparently he has a sore leg (not surprised, I'd have a sore back if she tried to sit on me!!)

Got home in the end eventually though, had to check the Male one hadn't nicked anything of mine, he can be so ill-behaved if left home alone, even the Female agrees with me

Took them for a walk in the woods today, they do seem to enjoy it there. The Female is getting better with these treats, although I was too thirsty after all the running around I had done to eat them, but I thought I had better make the effort to keep going back to her, just to give her some consistancy.

Then the Male one cooked me a roast dinner, but very rudely the pair of them ate it whilst I was asleep, and only left me a roast potato.

I had better get to sleep now, so I can wake them up nice and early, they are dreadful for staying in bed after the sun has come up!

Although I'm sure I heard one of them say custard....

I trained with my team members and I'm doing really well. I'm not that fast but it is having fun that counts and |I do so love it. I am so proud when I bring the ball back to my Mum (or Dad if he is running me)
They are so pleased with me and I get loads of treats and praise.
My house mate Jess (who is a "proper" flyball dog) trained well also. Maybe we'll run together in a team one day?
Jess has nearly 5000 points andd almost Advanced. I just want to get to 200 points and get my "Flyball Dog" certificate. One day........
In the meantime I'll continue to dream of tennis balls and food. (well I am a lab after all)
