HHO Dogs Diary

Hiya everyone.

Hope you are all OK. I am a bit tired but I will do the diary anyway.
There is tonnes of white stuff everywhere again, hurray! I aim to eat it all before it runs off again.
There was some really big scary noises and flashing lights in the sky so I stayed in my box until it was all over. Never seen that before!

Small Mum was away for a few days with her other pet (and didn't take me

) but she came back on Friday. Yesterday she and Auntie O took me and Wee Sister out in the rain. They smelled funny and Small Mum was in a bad mood.
Then today we went to the club and she was in an even worse mood and she smelled really bad. Maybe something to do with her waking me up at 4am so she and Auntie O could coo over me and feed me crisps?

We did heelwork and jumping (but I fell off the A-Frame because it was covered in white stuff, I was well embarrassed, all the other dogs were looking and I was supposed to be showing them how good I am at it

) but Small Mum kept having to stop and put her hand over her mouth and lean against the fence. I hope she is OK.

Well I'm off for a kip now, hope you all had a good week, let us know what you got up to!

We had an OK week but were sad 'cos can't find Mum and Dad anywhere. They had some bag things on Friday and haven't seen them since. Our friend Jayne has been staying with us and does all the stuff Mum does but it's not the same. We all got very excited last night though because they came BACK!! We flew round and round the house and from now on we are not letting them out of our sight. Happy doglets, Matty, Sage and Dexter.

Hi everyone--it's Beau here
i love to read everyones news. Today I and the X breed (Jess) were taken for a walk around a lovely lake. the sun was shining and we were having great fun chasing the ball. (I do get a bit frustrated 'cause Jess is quicker than me and she nearly always gets the ball first but my Mum seems to make sure I get a turn as well) Mum tried taking 2 balls but we dogs MUST have the same ball!!
Anyway all of a sudden the sky went black and loads of wet stuff fell on us. Mixed in with it was white stuff and by heck the wind was blowing. The humans had a thing called an "umberjigger" (or that's what they called it) so they were OK but me and Jess just had to get wet.

Mind you I paid Mum back when we got home 'cause Jess and I shook ourselves all over the clean floor that she had spent hours on this morning, then we delighted in putting muddy paw prints all through the house. Ha, ha.

Well I have had a nice weekend

- mainly I have just hung out in the yard with mum and gone for walks - the brook hasn't got so much water in it (hurray!) so I have been able to chase sticks in there again - yey!!!

I went with some of my friends for walks - my friend the lurcher just runs around like a loony!

Mum has been doing stuff with the 'horses' - I'm not sure why they need so much attention but at least it means I can sneak of to my bed for sneaky snoozes!!

I spent a bit of time in their kennels - I'm sure the grey one buries his bones in there

- every time he goes in it he digs up his bed and is always really grumpy if I stick my nose in!! The black and white one is my friend and lets me mooch around while she is in there and even lets me have carrots from her bowl!

Went to my grandparents with mum for Sunday lunch today - had my bowl of roast chicken - yummy!!

Waiting for mum to read the paper then I can sneak off to bed - thank god she goes back to work tomorrow, I can get a decent kip in!!

I had an amazingly fun day yesterday! Big brother and Dee came to get me to take me for my sunday run around as usual.

This week I got to charge around with my new friend Harley again in the fields, there werent any of the huge dogs that never want to play in the fields today so we went nuts.

I have to teach Harley to stop though! He just cant stop himself when we are running really fast together and he just keeps going, he jumped out of the field through the fencing yesterday!! Dee says he's like an unstoppable thoroughbred and I'm like an american quarter horse....I think its because when I stop all the mud sprays up everywhere-lucky I'm a chocolate lab, I don't look as dirty as the other dogs in the mud!

I write this today because when I got home I just flopped and went to sleep.

Cant wait for next week!
