Hiya everyone.

I had a very interesting week. This week I learned that when Small Mum comes towards me with a watering can, that I should hide. Then when she finds me, I should lie flat on the ground with my eyes screwed shut so that she can't get me too wet. That makes her laugh. But it doesn't stop her giving me baths. Has anyone else got any tips to stop me getting baths?

On Wednesday I found the coolest thing ever. We were walking along and there was a ditch just FULL of little jumping things. I actually think they were doing rude things to each other

so I tried to catch them all in my mouth. Small Mum didn't think that was a good thing for me to be doing because she started yelling at me. Maybe I'll be allowed to catch them next time.

Today was good fun, Big Mum, Small Mum, Wee Sister and me all went to club together. Big Mum and and Wee Sister were the class swots in obedience. Wee Sister gave Big Mum one of her special head-butts in the face, which she does to say 'I really love you' Big Mum was so overcome, she started crying.

Me and Wee Sister both did some jumps, but I was better than her, obviously. Small Mum didn't seem very well again this week. She fell over quite a lot and her face went all green.

Then we got put in the car and some of the other dogs and their people went round and round in circles for ages and Small Mum had to honk a big horn to make the dogs' ears stick up. Big Mum sat with us in the car and looked at her watch and made the 'tsk' noise. She said they were doing 'witchcraft' or 'shoeing' or something. It looked well boring.

So tell me all about your week!

Me and my rottie pals have had a strange week. Started off OK 'cos Mum and Dad are home and Mum took us out in the car which is my favourite thing ever. But... my EX friend Sage bit me again on Monday and Mum and Dad had to pull her off me. Man it hurt.
On Saturday loads of people came to stay at our house and Sage bit me AGAIN. Mum and Dad made her wear this thing on her nose for ages and she hated it but it did stop her hurting me again.
Today has been great 'cos it was SUNNY and I got to lie around sunbathing all day. Rotties have been chasing rabbits and pheasants all day, didn't catch any though. Duh kids!!

I've had a pretty quiet week, just going for walks. I did go agility training on Monday but although I really wanted to do the jumps my mum stopped me as I seemed a bit stiff. I think I may have tweaked something jumping for a ball when out for a walk.
I am now better so I was allowed to go to flyball training last night and had a great time.
I am getting really excited 'cos I am going to my first flyball tournament next Saturday.
wish me luck.

Sunday PM ...Pie's diary....

We had a blast earlier! It's a great day and mum thought it would be nice to take us for a leisurely stroll. We had a cunning plan though and diverted into the paddock where the bunnies were sunbathing and while mum and that waste of space collie were playing ball all us lurchers set about catching tea!

As Lizzie is the fast one she took the lead, I was next, Indie lolloped on behind and Alf is a poof so he hung back and waited to make sure the bunny was proper dead before he joined in. We got one really quick and were soon dividing up the spoils to take off and eat. Alf's got a bloody nerve but even though he didn't help we let him have some scraps.

Mum got bored with waiting so she hopped over the gate (well, sort of climbed and fell) and rounded us up. She took us back to the trough where she got the bucket and said she should at least wash the chunks off before she walked us home. Oooh...we were saving those for later

Before we left Liz went snorkelling in a filthy puddle and came up covered in mud. Mum laughed, said she looked like a proper gypsy dog.

Now we're all sleeping it off but keeping our ears pricked up for the sound of the food bag rustling in about an hour. Happy days.

Hiya doggy buddies!!

I have had a blast this week!!

The brook at the bottom of the farmyard is perfect for swimming in again - not flooding and fast like it has been - and I'm so excited that my spaniel brain has gone into melt down!!

All week I have been taking myself off for swims its been fab - still got in trouble though!!
crazy.gif
I went for a walk with mum and my friend Spot (the sheepdog) and all I wanted to do was to sit in the brook and have sticks thrown for me - mum and Spot wanted to walk round the fields so I sat in the brook and refused to get out. I won - they gave up walking round the field and came back for me - yey!!

Then the next day we all went off for a walk again and mum couldn't find me - kept shouting for me and then finally found me and was ever so cross - said something about a dogs home - anyone got one or been to one? are they nice?

- as I was moutaineering up the muck heap as the farrier had been and I was trying to find some hoof chews for myself. Don't know why that is naughty - would have thought she'd be pleased as its cheaper than buying them from the pet shop....
