Hiya,

I hope you all had a good week.

Tuesday was a bit weird. Lots of young people in green outfits came to visit. They didnt go to bed until 5am, so neither did we, we shouted and shouted at them all night, silly people. Big Mum was in a very bad mood the next day, I wonder why?

Small Mum came home on Wednesday. She smelled of those other big animals that she likes to play with and she was walking a bit funny. We were so pleased to see her back, we shouted in joy all night again. She came out to see us a couple of times (what does 'a lead injection behind the ear' mean?) and I even had a walk around the yard at 4.30am - RESULT!

On Thursday she was a bit grumpy and when she came to take us for a walk, she said 'right, I bet you don't bark tonight'.
Then she took us out for three whole hours. It was fab, we slept like logs. In fact, Small Mum slept so much she forgot to take us out at 7am the next morning!

Today we went to club. I was well good and so was Wee Sister. Davy the trainer bloke is very pleased with me and how I don't seem to want to fight all the other dogs anymore. Small Mum told him it is because I will do anything for out-of-date chorizo.

We did obedience, jumps and a-frame and then we had a rest while Small Mum took another dog, Kia, for that boring class that the pretty dogs do, she went round and round and round and round.

Then it was time for rag training. I was a bit bored but I played along to please Small Mum. She was so busy looking at how clever I was, she ran straight into a fence post. In front of everyone. That has definitely been a highlight of my week.

Hello all it's Flossy here.I have had a good week.On Monday night i went to that place where i go to see all my friends,i think mum calls it school or training or something anyways i saw my mates and mum had me doing the usual like sit and wait for her to call me back and laydown and stay booorrriiinnnggg.But at the end of the night mum got a certificate thingy and said i was a good boy and have finished the training course.Great i thought untill mum said she has she had signed us up for the next level.Mum said on Tuesday night coming i must be a very good boy as this judge person is coming to where i see my mates for a exam.It is called the Kennel Club bronze award.Sounds fun NOT.To make up for it she took me to the beach this morning.I love the beach,i run around and get sand up my nose.We done some more practise and all the other dogs on the beach were well impressed with me.So thats my week really.I will let you know how i get on on Tuesday for this judge person.Bye for now Floss.

Pie's diary Sunday evening....

Well, the weeks go by in such a blur, you know ...eat, walk, sleep, eat, walk, sleep...ooh, bark a bit, eat, walk, sleep

The weekends are best 'cos mum feels so guilty about going to work that we get extra time for walks and games. Yesterday we went to nannies and played with her 2 lurchers, We went for a great walk and Lizzie practised her bog snorkelling in the ditch. Nanny said 'if you think that disgusting thing is coming back in my house...........' but she still let her.

Today we went into the woods. Lizzie hadn't been before and she was nose down and off like a rocket. Mum was a bit twitchy about her her coming back but she kept checking in now and then. We met some more lurcher mates in the field and Leo can run really really fast! He gave Liz a good work out so we all got some peace this afternoon

Indie is proper playing the old lady card at the mo and says she can't eat the nasty dry food 'cos of her sensitive old lady tum, so mum's only got her on chicken thighs! Unbelievable. For tea today she had a handful of dry food soaked in sardines mashed with hot water, a chicken thigh and a slice of wholemeal toast and butter. Can't wait 'til I'm old

Off to bed now to dream about me and Leo the lurcher

Hi to all my doggy friends
My Mum posted about my exploits in "teaching old dogs new tricks" post below.
Yesterday I had a good walk with my "sister" Jess (Well she's not really my sister but we live together.she is a colllie x and a bit mad if you ask me!)
Jess likes to run fast and me, being a Lab prefer the quieter life. Still we both got to swim in the lake--lovely. Then Mum wouldn't let us lie on the settee when we got home. I can't think why!!!!!!
I'm going to Agillity training tonight. I love the tunnel best of all and running along the narrow thing called a dogwalk I think. And the Seesaw--yeahh is great fun. I get to have a ride on it.
Have agood week everyone. next weekend I've heard we are going to some Point to Point Horse races somewhere close. Goodie--lots of burger vans to sniff round and see what I can scrounge.

PS I forgot to say good luck to Flossy in the Good Citizens Bronze. Don't worry Flossy--it's not too bad. I got my silver award and even the mad Jess got her bronze.
