HHO Dogs Diary

Hiya everyone!

I am finally back at home after my three week holiday with Uncle Danny. There were all sorts of funny looking dogs there too, little white fluffy ones and everything.
Uncle Danny's dogs look like me but they all speak in a funny language and I think they are a bit hoity toity!

When Small Mum came to pick us up I was ever so excited and jumped all over her. She said 'ow' quite a lot.
We were so excited she needed two people to help get us back to the car.

It is great to be back among all the trees and the jumpy frogs and the squirrels and the birds and the smelly water and the fox poo, but those cats have gotten very brazen, sunbathing right in front of our pens. Me and wee sister were too shocked even to bark, the cheek!
Small Mum mustn't have been doing much exercise in 'Arnica' or wherever she was, she has been so out of puff on our walks...

Yesterday Small Mum's ginger pet came to visit and we had a great walk. Then they put us back in the car and had a picnic, so unfair! They said they were going to eat some 'beagles'. I was a bit worried until I saw that it was just bread with a hole in it.

Today I went to club. It was a bit weird being back there and I found it a bit hard to concentrate with all the other dogs. Small Mum kept calling me a 'bugger'.

There was a new thing there today called a tunnel. I wasn't too sure at first and kept reversing out of it - I thought that's what I was supposed to do because everyone laughed, but apparently you have to go right through it.
I am still the best at jumps though, so there!

Then Small Mum went and did 'witchcraft' or whatever it is with another dog called Charlie. When she came back to the car she was bright red and sweaty and said that she might have to pretend to be sick all summer so no one makes her do it at proper shows.

Big Mum is back tomorrow. According to Small Mum, that means the end of all the peace and quiet.
Here we are in Big Mum's very hairy car yesterday, looking jealous while Small Mum and her ginger pet were eating their beagles.

Hello Flossy here.It has been a quiet week for me this week.I havent even been to the beach as mum said there are too many holiday makers on there.So we have been in the fields instead,.Mum has been talking to some lady about a Agility Club thingy and i have been put onto a waiting list whatever that is!!.My nose got sunburn because it has pink on it so mum has been putting cream stuff on it and i keep trying to lick it off YUCK.I havent been to school this week as mum is abit busy so i havent had a chance to catch up with my mates.I am going on my holidays soon to a Place called Badminton Horse Trials in that small thing on wheels,mum called it a Caravan.Anyhows i will leve you with my photo coz i'm gorgeous.

Nice piccy's buddies!!

Well I don't know what you lot have done to deserve all this school stuff you do - I went when I was about a year old and it was cool - had loads of friends there that were so naughty I looked good!!

anyway got some piece of paper and haven't been back since - hope its not long until you get your bits of paper!

I've had such a nice weekend with my buddy Spot the sheepdog. Mum took us for a big walks both days - we got to go round the 50 acre field for the first time in ages - the only thing is there are loads of hares in there. Now for some reason when they pop up and go hare -ing off mum calls us both numpties 'cos we don't chase them

- what do you lot do when you see them??

At the end of both walks I got to play sticks in the brook

- my favourite - while Spot kept the scary sheep away from me. Have spent the evening cuddled up with mum on the sofa - nearly time for my basket.....

Well I know I am new so I hope it's ok for me to say what I've been up to! Although Mum (or the boss as she now insists on being called) says that when I really want to do something there is no stopping me - we are quite similar in that way

Well my week was a bit boring, although I did sign up to something called Twitter, it is amazing how I can type with my paws! My tweeting name is Henrylynchmutt. Apart from that it was very boring being under the boss's desk although I brightened things up by welcoming all visitors to the office and showing them all my toys (whether they liked it or not) and chasing the bunnies away from the fields. I also saved the yard peeps lots of poo picking by eating as much as possible although the boss always tells me off for this and chases me away from the poo.. I think she is just jealous.

We made up for it at the weekend, first we went for a really fun walk at Knettishall, and I met a fun rescue dog called Teddy, who wanted to play just as much as me! Then we went to the pub, and I got two whole chips and lots of fuss.Then we went straight back to the woods and had another long walk. I was very tired that night!

Then on Sunday we went to the beach, and I had great fun. I got to meet lots of people - some of them weren't very pleased but I just thought they needed cheering up so I tried extra hard with them. Mum went a very funny red colour when I did this, and I was very embarrassed by this so I made sure not to go back too easily so she would appreciate me all the more.

This is why Mum says she is now called the boss and not Mum, as she thinks she needs a slightly different attitude with me...

Anyway here is a picture of me at the beach. The boss was very proud that I jumped up on here like it was nothing, she says that would have been very hard when I was a porker. I don't know what she means...
