Hiya everyone!

Hope you had a good week. And a good week before that, Small Mum was at a silly concert thing last weekend and I couldn't get onto the laptop.

Where we live, it has pretty much been raining for the past two weeks. However because Small Mum is mad, we still have to go out for walks.
She is allowed to wrap up in shiny plastic, but we have to go out and get completely soaked, it is SO unfair. She says we are GSDs and are hardy and we should stop moaning.

It has rained so much, all the rivers and streams are overflowing. When we walked up along the stream behind our house the other day, the bank collapsed and Small Mum went in up to her knees. We laughed a lot. She said 'fug' a lot. It is her favourite word. No more burgers, Small Mum!

We found a dead bear the other day. At least I think Small Mum said 'bear' - looked like an overgrown rabbit to me. She said we could eat it but I didn't like it. Wee Sister loved it and crunched up all the bones. I think she is a bit strange.

Today was club day, my favourite day of the week. Big Mum is away somewhere so I had to go in Small Mum's car. Big Mum says Small Mum is 'precious' about her car, but I don't understand what that means.
She was playing some music with loads of 'toot toot' and 'tschika tshika' sounds. Small Mum said it was called 'Ska'. It is my favourite now.
She says the kind of music that Big Mum listens to is called 'Crap'.

I was super good at club today, I wasn't barky or growly, I even played with my new best friend, Kayla. She is a grey, like me, so, like me, she is very clever and special!
When it came time to do jumps Small Mum made sure I was up near the front as I get so excited to see everyone else jump ahead of me, I scream and scream and scream and Small Mum gets embarrassed.

We did hurdles, a tunnel, an A-frame and a new thing called a 'spread'. I am so good I get to go off the lead and Mum just points at what she wants me to jump.
Kayla was dead impressed.

There was a new dog today, really funny looking, he didn't look like any of the other dogs, black and brown and shiny with floppy ears. I think Small Mum said he was a 'Dope'.
I tried to tell him in a manly, important voice that I thought he was at the wrong club and he'd better take his owner away before he got all embarrassed, but Small Mum told me to shut up and stop being rude.

Then it was time for me to go back in the car. But none of the fancy prancy dogs had turned up so Small Mum didn't have to run round and round in circles and make them 'stand'.
Small Mum was very cross because she said she only had one glass of wine last night especially.

Oh well, that was my week, how was yours? What did you guys get up to?

Sounds like you and I have both been good today Bodo. Mum took me to some fields where there were lots of people, dogs, tractors, all sorts of noisy things. I remembered I wasn't supposed to shout at the other dogs so kept quiet and Mum kept telling me I was good. Saw some strange looking things, like my teddy bear but they were moving all on their own, not too sure about them. There were also some great big black dogs that were diving into the water and seemed to be pulling people out, Mum said they were Newfoundlands. I wanted to join in but spoilsport Mum wouldn't let me off the lead, had a good paddle though. Then went into this roped square with other dogs and Mum made me stand in a funny position then run around, and a strange man came and stroked me and looked at my teeth. Then he gave Mum some red ribbon and she seemed very pleased.
A bit later there were lots of people marching round in funny clothes carrying big sticks, the sticks made banging noises, then there where things on wheels that made huge explosions, the ground shook, it was quite interesting and Mum said I was a really good girl. I heard her talking on her funny phone thing to someone (I think it was little Mum who isn't home much) and telling her I was a real star.
Got to give lots of children kisses too, which I always enjoy, I like little people although sometimes they seem scared of me.
Anyway, quite tired now so going to have a good sleep.

Hey, we like kissing children too!! Mum thinks it's sweet but little does she know it's only because their faces are usually covered in chocolate or something else tasty.

We've had a great weekend. We met up with out pointer pals yesterday and Lizzie went mental with Pan, ran so fast she had to lie down in the field to recover. I caught a rabbit but mum didn't even notice so this time I got to eat some of it before she took it away. She says they're manky with mixi and not good for me but I think they're yum! We all slept like logs and mum says we must do that every day

Today has been a lazy day but we did get 2 1/2 walks as we kept meeting pals as we went round so had to go round again! Alls quiet now and Alf is playing musical chairs with Pie downstairs. Mum says he's a little bugger, whatever that is, as he always wants to sit where Pie sitting and as fast as she moves he wants to sit in her new seat. We won't move when he tries it but she's all for an easy life.

Another great weekend. Roll on next week

I have had a great weekend - I have been mooching round the farm with mum - trying to sneak up on the chooks when she is not looking as they are stoopid!!

Trouble is they always grass me up by cock-a-doodle-doing

.....but I did manage to sneak in a quick chase of Daisy the duck and a couple of the hoodie kittens that live in the barns

- Mum says they are just humouring me and aren't really scared of me.....

I am absolutely boiling at the moment as Mum says I need my haircut - I'm not best pleased as I like my curls and if I need to cool off I just go and sit in the brook
shocked.gif
- don't see what the problem is - does anyone know if stinky minger is a nice thing to call me??

Anyway I did go on a couple of fab walks round the fields, went for swims and rolled in some really smelly things....thank god they go back to work tomorrow - I need a kip.

Hiya everybody.Floss here...Well what can i say,,,i have just got home from four days at Badminton in that tin can thing called a caravan,it was brilliant.Mum said i was a total star.I met so many new friends and everybody was giving me cuddles and belly rubs.I loved the really long walk round the big field with lots and lots of humans. The big animals like what keeps in a field at home were running everywhere and jumping over big fences i did not bark at them or try to round them up as mum said that would be naughty.I tried not to pull too much but i just got so excited.I'm abit tired now but its nice to be back in my own bed again. It's time for my walkies now so catch ya later guys.Floss.x

Hiya everyone!

You all sound very busy

Mum and dad took me, Millie-mum and Jimmy (annoying little bro) away at the weekend in a caravan like Floss described. We thought we'd be asleep again but our friends Meg, Poppy, Jasper and Morse were there too so we decided we must have been taken to an agility competition!! YAY!

I was a monkey on Saturday and kept catching poles - mum got cross and shouted "pick your feet up", stoopid human, the jumps are higher than me there's only so much picking up of my feet I can do!! So I shouted at her the whole way round the rest of the course! The agility class was fun and although I knocked another pole off and refused to do the weave poles twice - I came 3rd!! I've got a lovely yellow rosette

Sunday was fabulous, although dad had to leave us to spend the day with his puppies (I think mum called them kids???). I was a star in the agility and got a clear round. They did the class presentation and...........I WON!! Got a lovely big red rosette this time and a tumbler. I could hear mum talking and she kept mentioning that my win put me in with a chance to qualify for the agility grand prix final if I was in the top 3 small dogs (why do people keep rubbing it in that I'm vertically challenged???).

When they did the presentation I was told that I was 2nd in the qualifier!!! My mum and Meg's mum did this funny squeeling, shouty noise - I think that means they were happy, they should wag instead it would be easier! Then we were told Meg had won it so we're both going to the finals in June!
Was a very tiring weekend, I slept all the way home.

Looking forward to next week, it sounds like the caravan is going somewhere called Skeggy. Mum and dad are acting like puppies and saying "seaside" in excited voices! It's very embarressing but a good run on the beach sounds fun.

Will have to let you all know when we get back.

Bye for now
