Hello everyone!

I hope you had a good week. It has been rather wet and soggy here, but Small Mum still insists on taking us out. She tells people who think she is mad for going out in this weather that we are GSDs and we don't mind the rain.
She never flippin' asked us!!!
mad.gif

So we have been splishing and sploshing around all week.

Small Mum has started letting Wee Sister off the lead a bit more when we are out on walks and so we have had some awesome chasey games. I think she must be half greyhound or something because I can never catch her - is this why Small Mum has started calling me 'Captain Slow'?
Wee Sister hasn't tried to run home yet this week. I think she is getting to be almost as brave as me. If that is possible
ooo.gif

Today we went to club and I was a bit cross because there were no hot babes there and Small Mum had spent ages tickling me with those annoying brush things so that I looked extra especially handsome
mad.gif

So I had no one to show off to, but she still said I was super awesome this week
laugh.gif
I will do anything for two-week old chorizo and sligtly high feta cheese
grin.gif

After the obedience Small Mum went off and did that roundy-roundy stuff with the posh dogs. She had it tight this week, she was ever so red and puffy when she came back to the car.

At the end I had all the agility equipment to myself and I went off and jumped it all on my own without Small Mum telling me what to do. She was all hunched over and giggling at me I suppose that means I was awesome?
She did tell me to wait for her a few times, but I was too busy being awesome to take any notice of her.
The only thing I didn't do was that horrible see-saw thing which makes the ground disappear under my feet.
Which is exactly the damned thing she then made me do
mad.gif

After my third time throwing myself off it hysterically and complaining very loudly, she put her head between her knees and made a very loud groaning sound - I don't know what this means?

On the way home I decided to re-arrange the back of Small Mum's car because I didn't find it to my satisfaction.
The ungrateful wench kept stopping the car to tell me off and put it back the uncomfortable way,
So while we were on the dual carriageway going really fast, I very helpfully lifted up the felt lining thing with my teeth so that I could see the spare tyre, then I pulled up the lumpy blankets and the annoying towels - I even got a nice red towel on my head, I thought it made a lovely hat.
Was she thankful? Was she jack! She even shouted 'FUPPING DOG!!!!!' at the top of her voice.
How rude!

Well now I am back in my kennel sheltering from the rain and I am very sleepy. Big Mum and Small Mum are having their 'Sunday Toast' or whatever it is.

Tell me all about your week!

Hello B.Flossy here,,it sounds like you have had a fun week..hehe you re-arranging the car sounds like great fun.

Well my week has been pretty good i went to the place where they stick needles in you but they dident this time..phew...all the lady did was feel my legs and look at my feet,,it was abit embarressing as my feet smelt abit to which i chuckled to myself.it seems i have bruised my feet but they are feeling much better now..Then the lady felt my boy bits
blush.gif
not impressed with that i tell you,i only have one on show
blush.gif
and i need to be knocked out to see if she can find the other one and remove them see i told you they like to stick needles into you.I have been up to see the big things that eat carrots and have big feet.i tried herding them but mum told me off so i went and sulked in the corner.
frown.gif

mum gave me a bone and i have just tried to bury it in the veg patch and i got shouted at again so i dug it up and now i will sneak out later and try again when mum is not looking.

.Take care everyone..Floss xx.

Finally the human has seen the light and realised that getting really really muddy is great! She says she just misjudged how firm the surface was and that she didn't mean to but I have great hopes that soon she will admit that she did it on purpose really

It was really funny watching her hose herself off instead of me too!

Hey B and Flossy,

Well this week mummy has been really mean =[ she took me to the place they give me treats and then con me into letting them prod me with things, and then she started crying because I didnt want to be left with the scary looking nurse. I'm telling you, that woman had a scary outfit on and everything....anyway, then they gave me some weird stuff which knocked me out and I had a really good sleep but THEN I WOKE UP! And they've SHAVED all my tummy hair and left a massive scar! Not impressed, the boy doggy up the road isn't impressed either.

So to make mummy pay for this, I spent all of Friday night whining and crying and sulking in the corner. Every time she tried to go to bed I just threw myself on the ground and made more of a fuss, was great! She even gave me some real boiled chicken rather than the cr*p biscuits that taste like dust.

When she eventually put me into my crate she put this stooooopid cone thing on my head. I wasnt impressed, so i pulled it off over my ears even though it was done up quite tight. In the morning mummy yelled, but then laughed and showed daddy, so it can't be that bad.

She's just taken me for a walk and now I'm sitting on the sofa watching the end of the sport where they hit that ball about with trees....apparently mummy's team are going to win cos she keeps cheering? I'm not really allowed on the sofa but mummy is being soft....

Have a good day everyone!

Hehehe you done better than me.Last time i walk the dog in Crocs i threw the dogs frizbee and it ended up in the hedge to which i tried to get to it and slipped down the back, done the splits and lost both my crocs in the marsh,,i had to walk home through four fields in just my socks on a very cold december morning.I can still see one shoe in the marsh but the other had disapeared into the bog.

Sorry this is really random but are crocs comfortable? Do they give you blisters? They always look like they'd be the sort of material to give me horrendous blisters! xx

Hi everyone!! *bounces around*

I have been in my new home for just over a week and I LOVE IT and never want to leave
grin.gif
grin.gif
grin.gif
!! I go for walks all the time and have lots of new friends to play with - including a lurcher who can catch hares, how exciting is that??!
tongue.gif
I get to charge around fields and swim in the brook, chase pheasants and bunnies - but not the chooks, duck or cats apparently - bah
mad.gif
mad.gif
mad.gif
humans are just no fun sometimes.....My new mum is really pleased with me as I have made friends with these big dogs they keep here called 'houses' - any of you have them??
confused.gif
Anyway I have tasted some of their food its all right but mine is nicer - they get this dried grass stuff and things called nuts but they don't have shells??

The only thing about my new home is that I am sooooooooo tired and mum won't let me sleep on the bed
crazy.gif
crazy.gif
- she says giving her big kisses and then trying to climb on the bed isn't subtle - anyone help me with this as then my life will be perfect!!!

Big yawns,

Max xxx

Hi everyone,

Max is ok - I have got him under control now and it means when we are walking all the other dogs play with him and leave me alone to do my thing!! I have nearly polished of the packet of smackos he came with and we have had another bone this week - so not bad.
wink.gif

I am also using him as an excuse to chase the pesky cat
grin.gif
- I need to remind him that I'm in charge but Max kept getting the blame until Mum caught me!!
shocked.gif

The only thing he hasn't worked out is how to sneak on Mum's bed for a kip - I'm not telling him my secrets as I quite like 2/3rds of a double bed to myself - don't want to be sharing that.

Am bloody knackered though - pesky youth!!!

Floss, you are lucky, I have no boy bits at all! Be careful that doesn't happen to you!
I went to see the vet man and came home all sleepy with a bucket on my head like Chloe.
Like Chloe, I watched a lot of telly and especially the game where they hit a yellow ball back and forth all day.
Then when they took the bucket off two weeks later, they were gone!
I am still looking for them, let me know if you see them anywhere, although I think the vet man took them.
And he seemed so nice!!!!

I do find them really comfortable although they do look like you have a giant colourful cornish pasty attached to each ankle! They aren't pretty but are good for dog walking in summer.

Also - they are washable which was very handy this afternoon

Hi - My name is Bruce and I am a newbie to all this! Mum comes on here sometimes and I have read a number of posts with her and have decided to join in as I have had an exciting day and just have to share with you all! FYI I am apparently 16 months old and a working cocker spangle - though I am working hard to not 'work' properly, much to mums annoyance!

Normally Mum takes me for a run in the morning and the person I call minion is allowed to accompany me on my afternoon stroll - Mum has told me I should call him 'dad', but he is SO beneath me in the pecking order that I feel I have to call him 'Minion' - Anyway, today when I took minion with me for a stroll along the river bank I had a great time - I gave him the slip next to the posh hotel that we pass ( he was shouting at me but I always pretend to not understand his scottish accent!) but you'll never guess what I did then!! I went to a WEEDING!
smile.gif
(at least I think thats what it is called - its what minion said when he was talking to mum on the small talking box thing when he was telling her what HER dog did - at least he's got that bit right!) Apparently I wasn't invited to the weeding, but I don't believe that 'cos everyone was pleased to see me and made a great big fuss of me as I ran around all the tables clearing up all the yummy cake that had fallen on the floor! There was a really nice lady in a posh white dress that i licked on the face, but sadly minion tried to spoil it all be trying to catch me, so I gave him the slip again and headed towards the nice smells in the kitchen - the chef was not a nice person, but I found a nice waitress who stopped the chef chasing me, but she did hand me back to minion! All the way home minion was muttering at me and had a really grumpy look on his face - he seemed to think that I had embarrassed him, but I don't understand why he was upset - it is my role in life to spread joy - and the people at the weeding were enjoying my company!!!

Anyhow - I am a bit tired now - it has been a really hot day here and I think I might have eaten too much cake! I look forward to keeping you all updated on my adventures and reading about your fun lives!

Bruce

Hello! Wes here again. It's been a long and confusing week for me, there have been lots of little dogs next door howling loudly, which I find a bit scary... I decided that the safest place was under mum's desk, but she didn't seem to happy - kept muttering about what a wussy hound I was, and that her desk is too small to have me under it when she's trying to work... I think she liked it when I rested my head on her lap and wouldn't move though! I got called a wuss again at the yard, as I really didn't want to leave the office... well, the big beasts are scary! Mum made me come out in the end (after I'd been happily snoozing for 5 hours on the sofa...), but couldn't keep me out - she seemed annoyed that I kept running away back inside. But it's safer there, right..??
confused.gif

Spent the weekend in London with Dad, and ent for a lovely walk at one of my old haunts, and tried to eat peoples picnics - I like picnics, those blankets are comfy and the sarnies are yum!
