Hello all - Henry here
Anyone else feeling a bit portly at the moment?
This week we have been mostly having something known as Christmas
This means that the humans stay at home and eat lots of food, and have lots of things wrapped up in rustley paper
My human has been at home for an extra long time because she has been poorly, this means that we have only been on short walks because she has been feeling all woozy, without even drinking any boozey
She feels better now that she has had a rest though.
We have been at the human's parents' house, which is great because the human's mum is a soft touch and feeds me lots and lots of nice stuff. I have had ham, and pork pie, and turkey, and vegetables, and crisps, and twiglets, and toast, and more turkey
The human even spilt some beer, which I was forced to clear up *hic*, so it has been a good week
Now the human and I are going on long walks again, and I am pleased to say that the human has retained her new interest in hedges, which is all very good
Now the human's smallest step-brother has come to stay - I am a bit worried about hi because he only seems to be able to communicate in grunts
I have tried to liven him up, but it seems hopeless. The human says this is because he is a teenager
I am going to hit him some more with my special quacky duck to see if he livens up a bit. The human says I will have to visit him first thing in the morning, as all teenagers love being woken up extra-early. I shall have to try it in the morning.
Anyway - I'd better go now as the human and her mum are about to make a turkey pie - I need to supervise
Happy Dogmas!
