How has everyone else been getting on with their horseys' diets?
 
Mines not on a diet, though maybe he should as his belly is getting a bit big with all the rain making the grass grow again!

But just wanted to say hes looking great! Keep up the good work

I've not got mine on diets but they have been having less treats the past month and instead of having a bit of extra feed a few days they instead have a couple of apples or carrots etc.
The grass is very short where they are at the moment though and I have noticed that they both look like they are losing weight as a result. I could do with getting the weight tape out really to confirm what I am thinking though.
Keep up the good work though as he is looking so much better now

Well Whisk has stayed the same again!!! Think we have plateaued.... However I was away last week so he was only ridden twice. But that was by my trainer and she doesn't take any prisoners so I'm sure he worked hard!!! Well done Bex he is looking pretty good isn't he.
 
yep, I use a weightape and photos..and I prod and poke him a lot!!

I am aiming to get him down to about 450kg by autumn, and hopefully a bit less than that by next spring, but I'm not exactly sure what his ideal weight is. He is only 14hh but is a very chunky build.
