Random musings but I am focusing on SJ this year. If there are others out there at the same shows it would be nice to meet up. Help with holding horses for course walks, videoing, general encouragment, drinks of an evening.....

I am definitely going to Aintree 4th - 7th July but I'll probably go to more. Anyone else?
 
My sister SJ and I am usually there as groom. We have decided to do less stay aways this year :-( This is mainly because our lovely mare is due to foal end of May, and finding decent cover for the other (complicated) horses left at home can be an issue.
I think the only one in the diary for now is the Blue Chip champs in April, but will keep an eye on this thread in case we decide we are going to brave booking something.
 
I'm jealous of your enthusiasm and commitment to SJ!
I'd love to do some of the stay away shows but we only jump 1m so not sure there would be enough classes? I like the idea of consolidating my learning though with lots more jumping over a few days.

I'm trying to be more positive about it- I am SJ 2 weekends in a row which is a big step forwards for me.
