HHO Sports "Horsenality" of 2012?

I wondered if, in this year of epic equestrian sport, we should do an HHO version of sports personality but for the horses?

I was thinking of taking nominations in each category:
Dressage
Show Jumping
Eventing
Racing
Lifetime Achievment/Hall of Fame

Then running a poll for each category, and then the winner of each category goes into a final poll for the overall winner.

so, who is up for it? I'll organise/run it, just don't want to put the effort in if no-one else is interested!!

Also, any category that I've missed?!
 
Great idea, my nominations would be, have to pick more than one for some categories.

Valegro or Mistral Horjis
Tripple x lovely to see a homebred/ produced horse ridden in a snaffle at top level.
Miners Frolic coming back from illness and dressage in the torrential rain.
Frankel
Lifetime achievement, either Kauto Star , Lenamore or Mistral Horjis as he really started to put British dressage up there.

Team, no contest in my view the dressage team were superb.
 
Awesome idea! Are we supposed to answer these now? If so...

I will put threads on for each category for nominations later on then! :)

timeline - a week for nominations, then once all nominations recieved then I will put a poll thread up for each category, with a week to vote?

then a final poll with the winners of each category, and a week to vote on that?

is a week enough for each stage?
