HHO Vibes for Genie please

My lovely Genie is a poorly pony today, and as Weds was 3 years since I lost Mazzie I'm more worried than I would be normally.

She's had a massive allergic reaction to something in the field, her temperature got up to 104F/just over 40C from 39C between my first calling the vet and the vet arriving about 20 mins later. A load of injections later and it's coming back down and I have left her for a few hours before going back up later.

She SHOULD pull through fine, but had I not called the vet she would have been pretty much dead within 12 hours. She has Fuciderm for where the skin is raw from her rubbing it, Danilon for tomorrow morning, and antibiotics until Tuesday.

This mare is my life so any vibes to help her recover quickly would be very much appreciated.

Oh no, poor Genie. I'm sure she will be absolutely fine though, my sister's old pony had a huge reaction to getting bitten or stung, and he was going crazy, rearing and such, but he made a full recovery after a rapid vet visit!!

Aw poor girlie. I hoe she's all right. It's so awful when something so frightening happens to them and they mean so much to you. Does the vet know whether it was a contact allergy or whether she ingested it?

Bump so miss_c will see and reply but things are looking better

Hi all. She's hopefully turned a corner after scaring us yesterday. Her temp went back up to over 103 and the bumps spread all over her body. I had the vet back out and she had more jabs and more meds.

Today her temp is normal and she's MUCH brighter in herself and a lot more comfortable. Bloods have gone off today and we'll get them back tomorrow.

Most recent Genie update!!!

She is bright as a button today and now showing total displeasure at being in. Titchy is in the bullpen with her today and, despite having a haynet each, they are happily sharing the same one! Blood test results come back today and hopefully she'll be allowed back out.
