I have a 4 yo connemara who i have had since he was about 1 1/2 . He was backed at 3 during the backing process it became obvious he was sore took to equine vet, who x rayed him and found he basically had a hole in the hock bone that he thinks was caused by a kick, was given tildren through iv, was given 2 months in field, then re x rayed. The vet was really pleased said bone had completely healed pony was sound. I decided then to give him off until end of Feb this year brought him back into work slowly he remained sound until about end of march he was lame again when riding, took him straight back to the vet who said his hock was fine he had foot infection there was a deep spilt in his frog so, farrier out put hoof pad on then antibiotics commenced for 5 days. He was sound for about a week after brought back into work stayed sound for a few days now he is lame again off and on not dog lame but I notice he would go a few strides sound then a few lame so we are back to vet on Thursday , am really racking my brains to what is wrong with him, no bumps swelling cuts heat or anything obvious. So at a loss with him
Need some hho vibes :-(
