Mum and Sweep were trying to have a lie in when we got invaded by a robin!! Being big and brave I started to chase him round the house barking!! Made mum get up anyway......

Then we went and fed the houses and I had a little mooch around the fields with Sweep - then it got seriously boring!!

Mum was cleaning out the houses staples *yawn* Sweep says its good when the houses have been in to bed as they are fab places to get fresh poo from.

To amuse myself I played 'it' with the chickens and then paddleed in the puddles. Mum finally finished and took Sweep, Spot and I for a big walk round the fields - wicked!!!!

Hi Max and everyone
smile.gif

Well, we have to admit, our report is going to be short even though it is our first one
blush.gif
Well, have you SEEN the weather this week
shocked.gif

So our week has pretty much consisted of being dragged out under sufferance into the rain to do what we need to, then scampering back indoors to sleep on the sofa in front of the lovely warm fire
grin.gif

It is a hard life being a greyhound

Love Flick and Islay xx

PS - Flick says that Islay has developed a whole new range of snoring this week now
grin.gif
Islay has given Flick a stern glance of reprimand for sharing her secrets
grin.gif

Flick and Islay, I'm sorry, but do you have to go out in the rain??? If it rains, I normally start shivering the second Dad opens the door (as soon as I hear the rain) -- I look at him adoringly and he lets me go back under the duvet immediately. It never fails to work
smirk.gif

Otherwise I had a pleasant week. Mum came back (I hadn't seen her in aaages) and she brought back some very special toys, called Turkish Delight. They're really funny, they're brown toys but if you lick the brown off, they're pink inside! I think that's the point of the game, you have to find the pink, however I got very bored very soon so I got about ten out of the box and just played football with them, throwing them around, hiding them under my bed, and fun stuff like that.

For some reason though, Mum has been VERY cross all day
confused.gif
Maybe they were meant to be a surprise and I opened them too early?

Love

Hiya everyone!

I hear some of you may be underwater. We are not far off it.
This week has been a bit boring because of the rain.
Small Mum abandoned me on Monday to go and see some Special people.
She came back on Tuesday very tired and sore. Apparently when you go to see The Special people you have to run up and down on the spot for 90 minutes and say 'oi' and 'rude boy' a lot.
Sounds daft to me.

Mostly this week I have been practising this tracking stuff (I told you about it last week - Small Mum shuffles around and drops cheese and then I have to clear it all up until I see a piece of carpet, then lie down. Weird)
And yesterday was fun, me and Wee Sister got to chase the cats all over the yard while Small Mum followed in hot pusuit, calling us Wee Fuggers. I still don't know what a fugger is, but I don't think it is good.

Today was club day. I did all the tracking stuff (yum!) and a bit of obedience (BOR-ING).
Big Mum and Wee Sister came too and I am getting a bit worried...Wee Sister is getting good at this whole training thing...I can't let her be better than me!!!
I heard Small Mum say 'Oh great, another bloody one to take through the BH'.
If she gets a higher score than me, I may huff. Badly. And you don't want to see that!

Anyhoo, it's nearly my dinner time, must dash, seeya next week!

Hello everyone

My human says I am driving her to Distraction. I think this is a bit of a silly thing to say, as I don't know where this Distraction is, and anyway she always drives, even when I jump into the drivers seat all ready to take over she just makes me move.So I don't know why she is saying that
confused.gif

The human seems to have developed some kind of unhealthy obsession with cleaning things. I think this is because her mum came to see us, and said that the house smelt doggy.Personally I can't see what the problem is, it's not like this smell develops overnight, but the human didn't seem to like this
confused.gif
So now she has cleaned everything and she has go some squirty smelly stuff that she keeps spraying on all the fabric, which smells like flowers
mad.gif
She even squirted the outside of my crate!
shocked.gif
Also, she has made me sit in my crate while she cleans, which I was very cross about. I howled and howled and howled because I was hoping International Dog Rescue would come but they haven't been yet
frown.gif

We have been for two really fun walks with swimming though, and I nearly caught a squirrel but it was too quick. Now I am all cosy, I have got that red thing on the human got for me, which I have decided I quite like now because it is all warm and cosy when I am wet and trembly. And the human has lit the fire, so it is extra toasty in here. So I think I will forgive her, epecially because since I have been swimming I have been able to give the place back it's proper smell (mine!)
grin.gif

Must just go and roll about on the carpet now to make sure the damp dog smell is properly integrated!

Hi guys! *wags tail*

I'm hiding under the bed coz Mum thinks I need a B. A. T. H. as someone may have been rolling in a dead badger on our big walk today - or as Mum put it "You minging little phoo-kerr". She also doesn't understand that swimming in rivers and ponds does NOT mean you like B-words. I'm a complicated soul, I really am. Mum also hasn't bought me a new bottle of Matey yet - how can a girl be expected to have a bath without bubbles??

More upsettingly - I am quite hungry now - been under the bed for a while, but if I go for a nibble (stuff me face in other words) Mum and Dad will fling me in the tub
shocked.gif

Can International Dog Rescue find me under the bed??

Yours ravenously,

Tilly (avec whiffs of Eau de Badger - it's SO in this season)
