I'm here in Amersham from New Zealand and wondered if any of you locals would like to meet up for a drink or meal locally. Would be lovely to meet you all in the flesh.

My old haunts from many years ago were The Eagle, The Swan in Old Amersham, and the Nags Head in Little Missenden. However that was almost 30 years ago so they may have changed.

I'm here until Sunday 22nd September, then it's a mega haul back to New Zealand.

Hi, I am originally from Chesham, but have moved away. My mum is the landlady of the Pheasant in Waterside, Chesham though - if you have time, then you should pop in for a drink. We are a horsey/doggy family, and also have some horsey customers!

Did you know Jim Randell, from Chesmount Rise? I used to ride one of his ponies for years. The pony was called Conker and I also rode Tinkerbell which belonged to a friend of mine who grazed her at Jims.

I used to live near Denham so not too far from Chesham (I live hants/Berks border now). I used to get feed from Bellingdon End. Will you be paying a visit to Catlips while you are in the area?
