I am new to this forum but not new to horses. some say it's about time I hung up my hat and boots as People keep telling me I am a bit long in the tooth for riding (62). I just tell them there is no way I can give up riding despite my arthritic hip and other aches and pains. I have stopped riding my 21 y.o warm blood X after he bucked me off last year.My daughter rides him and we share a 6 year old cob type who is lovely.

Excellent, I love hearing of people who ignore all those miseryguts who want to tell you you're too old for this or that.

There are plenty of people on here who are in your age range, and also plenty of people who have various bits of their body give them trouble whether due to age or injury or illness (or all of them) - enjoy the forum & welcome!
