Hi everyone!
I am Laura, Winter's owner from Rollestone.....I know there are a few of you on here who follow the foalies at the yard and I came on here a couple of times and posted when Winter was due. Since then I have dropped in and out and read a lot of the more interesting posts, but I have had exams so refrained from posting myself as I have already realised how addictive this forum is- it has proved to be an excellent procrastination tool even just reading! Anyway, halfway through exams now and giving myself a bit of a break this evening so thought I would come on and say hi properly and I hope I can drop in on you all for advice from time to time...I always think its great to get different opinions on various problems and you all seem so helpful!
So I will tell you a bit about myself and my neds.... some of you already have seen Winter on the foal cam. She is a 15hh Arab mare who I have had for about 5 years now and I have given her a year off to have her filly. Leilah was born on 10th April and she is by Rollestone Inde-Cent, a Polish warmblood and is absolutely gorgeous. After I have posted this I will get my tech cap on and post some piccies! I also have a 16hh TB/ID x Connemara 6yo gelding who I have had for two and a half weeks now and I love him to bits already, he is the sweetest most genuine horse you could wish to meet!
And not forgetting two dogs as well, a 7 yo Samoyed called Troy and a 4 and a half month old JRT x Border Terrier called Dexter who you might have spotted on the yard cam...
Anyway, looking forward to talking to you all more on here from now on and I will post some piccies in a bit...I love looking at all your pictures of your horses by the way, they are the first ones I click on so I thought you might like to see mine
