Hi,
I thought I might introduce myself I have lurked here a lot but never really had the courage to post. I thought seeing my horse (not really my horse but I have been given the ride on) and I went to our first competition on the weekend I might introduce myself. I am from Australia, I've mainly been a show jumper but have been thinking about doing some more eventing as well. The gorgeous boy is Solicitor who is a TB stallion.

The photos are from a combined training event. This was my first time back in an arena in almost 5 years!

I am very lucky indeed! I like to remind myself all the time so I don't take it for granted. I had on OTTB that I bought three years ago who had been very neglected after his racing career. It took me a while to come to terms with but I couldn't afford my own horse so I had to sell him with the knowledge that I wouldn't have another horse for the foreseeable future. It was pretty heart breaking. But then Tara who I had met through working at my local tack store asked if I was looking for another horse to ride.

but how could you take this guy for granted. He is so well behaved yet still loves to come up and smooch any time. I'm pretty sure this is what people call love
