Hi everyone, i have been coming on here and reading posts for ages but have never registered, I have read loads of posts about where to advertise horses and H and H seems well recommended, I have now been put in a position where I have to sell my filly who was meant to be with me for ever so have advertised her on here. I just feel so sad about it!!!

Firstly welcome! Sorry to hear you have to sell your filly, i've never been in this position so i'm not even going to say i know how you feel. But i'm sure she will go to a lovely home where you can be kept up to date on her progress.

hi and welcome.
That's a real shame. Hard with a youngster as if she was a ridden horse you always have the option of loan or share. Maybe a stud would be interested for a year or 2 if she was of suitable breeding. Don't know your cirumstances so maybe that's not an option for you either.
So sorry though, hope you manage to sort something out.

Welcome to the forum Lexis! And so sorry to hear you are having to sell your filly, no wonder you are feeling sad, but opefully you will find her a wonderful home through H&H though?!! Have you thought about loaning instead? Though I guess if she's not broken that might not be ideal?

I am having a rubbish week too if it's any consolation!! Not only do I have exams but my boy who I've spent nearly 2 years putting right is "not right" again and has to go for x-rays tomorrow. :@( Maybe if we send each other positive vibes things will get better!!! ;@) xx

Hi, thank you for replying, she is a 2 year old traditional x welsh section D, I had 2 young children when I bought her and shortly afterwards I became pregnant again (not planned), so now with my eldest just turned 4 and my middle one is just over 2 and my youngest is 5 months I just don't have the time or money to keep her, we have a couple of ponies for the kids and they are their best friends so couldn't part with them so unfortunately its me making the sacrifice. I just hope someone else likes her

Positive vibes coming your way Hels-Bells!!!!
Thank you for all your replies, I cant really see there being a loan type market for her??? Plus I am a worrier at the best of times and with all the horror stories floating around (I know there are also loads of success stories too) I just wouldnt settle!

I know someone looking for exactly that type of pony - what colour is she and what area are you? Oh and welcome, by the way - lovely name too :D

Thank you, my daughters name is Lexi and her pony is called Magic lol.
Am i allowed put her colour and stuff? Dont want people to think i am advertising! Ill take a punt... she is chestnut with a flaxen wavy mane and tail and we are in the midlands. The plan was always to break her once my eldest started school and my then youngest was full time at playschool, baby Iyla threw a spanner in the works lol x
