Hi, just an update on my boy.

My boy fractured his radius five weeks ago and has been cross tied ever since. Its been really hard mentally as I feel so cruel.
He's been x rayed tonight and I was praying that we could untie him to save both our sanitys. Anyway hes got another 2 weeks to go then he will x rayed again, Im gutted, the fracture is healing but not enough for him to risk lying down yet. I feel so sorry for him just stood there 24/7 but I know its for his own good. Vet did say I could take him for daily short walks (5 mins) as long as he behaves so at least thats something.

A couple more months and you'll be wondering why you got in a twist about it. Honestly, he's fine and far better in and cross tied than not here at all - especially since the outlook for him is so good. Hang in there both of you and do keep us posted.
