Hi-Vis Exercise Sheet SIZING question!

Hi all. I bought an exercise sheet last year for my boy and it was a little too small and defeated the object haha. What size do you recommend for a chunky 14.3hh horse please? I dont think the sizing is the same as normal rugs is it? No, I cant remember the size of the last one I bought to use as a comparison

I think you usually take 2ft off the normal rug measurement

If you want to be absolutely accurate you measure from the back of your saddle to the point of his tail.

If like me you have not got around to doing so before finding a rug you really like go for large or horse size. (Or take 2' of your rug size as said.) I have a really chunky 14.2 and his Hi Viz is an Equiport Large size. If its a bit big you can tuck the odd bits between the saddle and the numnah. Rather too big than too small is my motto!

Hi he usually takes either a 6' rug or sometimes - LW TO = 6'3....

my old mare was 6'0 sometimes 6'3 and a 4'6/9 fitted her well. I would go for the 4'9 if I were you if your boy is chunky.
