I use v-bandz on a Westphalian fully-feathered draft horse with over 12" bone. I'm sure they'd fit your shire. Mine are pink on blue but they also do yellow and black, I believe.

I have (had) the airowear ones - yes they fit my chunky legged mare brilliantly but having lost 3 out of the 4 (not even in particularly muddy conditions) my judgment would be that they don't stay on too well!

About the boots - would love some but struggled to find any brushing boots that fit, the ww mediums aren't wide enough, but the large are too long. My girl is only 14.3 but has huuuuuuuuuuuge legs!

I use Aldi leg wraps on a chunky, full feathered 18.2hh clydesdale. They are only just big enough but they do fit and they were less than a fiver!

Stupid question - do you get one or two? Going to get pink and yellow as always think a combo of colours is best xx

Of the V-Bandz? They come in pairs, so you'd need one pair of pink & one of yellow :) I agree that they'd probably fit chunky legs nicely - I have them and they're really adjustable. x
