Hi Viz leg wraps for chunky legged horses

Which are best? Horse has very chunky legs but would like to get some as I know the movement makes them very visible xx

I think these are the best leg bands, the material of the yellow "shines" and they stand out better than other leg bands, they also fit over chunky legs

I use v-bandz lef wraps the basic ones. I have pony sized on a good boned 15'2 so a horse sized set would be more than ample. They are dead easy to clean - just chuck them in the machine.

I use v-bandz on a Westphalian fully-feathered draft horse with over 12" bone. I'm sure they'd fit your shire. Mine are pink on blue but they also do yellow and black, I believe.

V-bands ... They even go over x-country boots

i have bridleway ones and they have long velcro so they fit pretty much anything, they fit my 17.2hh mw ISH very well

I have (had) the airowear ones - yes they fit my chunky legged mare brilliantly but having lost 3 out of the 4 (not even in particularly muddy conditions) my judgment would be that they don't stay on too well!

horse size in these only just fit my traditional cob on front, don't fit on the back. depends how heavy your horse is

About the boots - would love some but struggled to find any brushing boots that fit, the ww mediums aren't wide enough, but the large are too long. My girl is only 14.3 but has huuuuuuuuuuuge legs!

I use Aldi leg wraps on a chunky, full feathered 18.2hh clydesdale. They are only just big enough but they do fit and they were less than a fiver!

Of the V-Bandz? They come in pairs, so you'd need one pair of pink & one of yellow I agree that they'd probably fit chunky legs nicely - I have them and they're really adjustable. x

The Polite ones are fabulously visible - fluorescent with reflective chequered middles and are huge even on my LW show cob. I put them on over his Westropp Knee/Brushing boots in front, and have another pair on the hinds.
£10 a set! Bargain.
