There must be a lot of horses with muscle wastage as these ads for hi whithered pads, extra hi whither pads are everywhere!

Either that or they are being bred with great big bony protrusions!

I prefer to use them as then I can be absolutely sure my pad won't sink down and press on his withers. And my boy is only just being backed so no muscle yet to have muscle wastage!!
