Sorry if this is the wrong area to do this in but wanted to say hi to everyone local (perhaps someone would be good enough to let me know how best to say hi and introduce myself to everyone far and wide), I am fairly new to yorkshire but loving it and have a 5yr old very lively trotter x cob mare, a registered mini and a miniature horse cross (thelwell pony lookalike!). Anyway, have a small yard at home and we are near Selby and just wanted to say hi and say we have a 40 x 20 outdoor school that if anyone local is struggling without facilities, then give me a shout (no charge for using the school as it has an old but very useable surface).

Hi, I'm not local to you (I'm in Lancashire) but just wanted to say the best part of the forum to meet people is The Tack Room. It's probably the busiest bit for general horsey chat. Welcome. :)

*waves* I'm finding out just how fab yorkshire people are, just need to get to know more horsey people in the area as absolutely no horsey pals nearby, absolutely loving the forum too, what a great place to share knowledge and help each other. x

Im glad you like where you are living - my parents aren't far away from where you are. Lucky you to have R&R Country store on your doorstep - was in there a couple of weeks ago on my way home for a visit and never leave without spending a fortune!

Hiya,

Sorry for late reply I have also just moved to the area. I was wondering whereabouts near Selby are you? I am in desperate need of a school to hire/borrow until we get one built!
