I'm new to the forums but I've been reading the Horse and Hound on line articles for about 6 months now. I'm in the mid Atlantic region of the USA. I used to ride hunters and jumpers but took a bad fall and broke my pelvis. Now I have arthritis in my spine so most riding is pretty spotty. If I have the chance I would like to learn how to ride sidesaddle.

Hi, sorry to hear about your accident and your arthritis. I'm sure there will be some side saddle riders somewhere on this forum..I'm too much of a scaredy cat to try that
