Thanks for including me in your group, I'm an older rider, 60, but have been riding since a child. I have two golden oldies, well in their 30s, two arabs and a yearling Penpont pony. I hack around our lovely countryside, due some endurance rides, at a low level as I've been coping with stage 3 cancer for the last 3 years, and a new thing for me a bit of local showing

Hi ?

You are in company here on the forum with your age and your cancer battle. I hope you're with us a long time.

Welcome to the forum - sounds enjoyable, what you do. What is classed as a low-level endurance ride, out of interest?

The cancer sounds less enjoyable. Hope you are managing around it as much as possible.

Are you battling it too ?

No, thankfully, but there are two others on the forum who post in some detail and at least one other who has mentioned it, that I know of, plus far too many having to deal with it in their family.

32 k seems like quite a long way these days, you get to ride some fantastic routes that you would never visit any other way, so I really enjoy it
