As a few people seem to be on this journey currently and I'm joining the ex-racers club this week I thought I'd start a thread to share experiences/ trials & tribulations! My new boy comes home on Thursday- he is 8 and has run 35 times and won 5, mostly on the flat with a couple of hurdles...

Thanks that’s great. No I hadn’t as although I’ve been looking at threads on here for a long time I’ve only previously come on here really when I’ve been looking for specific information and Google search has highlighted threads discussing whatever I was looking for. This time it was the salt and flour treatment for sarcoids and I finally decided to join!!

If your mare is 7 presumably she has raced? Oh yes, and I'm told photos are obligatory : )
