Hickstead Footpath

ok a bit sneaky BUT i got told last year that there is a footpath that runs through hickstead showground just down from the Castle Pub??

not sure if its true but does anyone else know about this ??

there is a path that a lot of people use to sneak in with

Never done it myself as I always have free tickets anyway.

If it's the one I'm thinking of (location of said footpath sign) it leads more into the dressage arenas/section than the actual Hickstead meeting - could be really wrong though

I've never worked out how to get into the dressage section without being caught though - isn't there a fence in the way these days?

There is a foot path, yes, there are also the freebie tickets that appear in the Friday-ad, there is also a track that people use to get in in the eve, but not sure re daytime, but its not the one you were thinking of!
