I watched it on the hickstead website. It was an amazing derby.What a stunning horse, can't wait to see how they progress. Imagine getting two clears and not winning though, must be tough for William.

I went with my daughter, great Derby, very hot though.
Before the Derby was the scurry final with the marvellous Geoff Osbourne still competitive at 87

Exciting Derby yesterday, a huge shame it’s not shown on terrestrial tv anymore. Who would have thought someone could jump two horses clear in the first round and still not win!

It was a shame for William not to win when he got two horses through but David Simpson was a well-deserved winner, he rode brilliantly and has produced that lovely young stallion himself. I suspect they will be putting the stud fee up this morning!
