Seem to be asking a lot of questions today! Trying to get to the bottom of my not-in-work 14 year old mare who is a little lame/foot sore and is being investigated by the vet. Currently on a bute trial and testing her diet. For some weeks now she has made high blowing/fluttering sounds when she is led in or out of her field (in walk). I find it rather sweet, but I wonder if it is a symptom of something. I read that you mostly hear this sound in canter, not in walk. As far as I can tell her breathing is at the normal rate but will get the vet to check next time she's out. Anyone had any experience of this?
