High fibre mix. Warning!!

I saw this on sale in feed store, made by a high profile and respected company It didn't say what starch content was. As we all know mix is higher I thought I would call and check. I was not expecting the answer of 29% though. I was totally gobsmacked
So thought I would warn everyone
 
Yes, high fibre does definitely not always mean low starch or cereal-free. Same goes for some of the feeds that are labelled 'non-heating'. Never assume, always read the ingredient list and check sugar/starch content with manufacturer if they don't publish it.
