High value horse insurance?

Anyone know the best company to insure death only on a high value horse? Amlin seem ok @3% of value but dont do monthly payments and I dont want to shell out the premium in full strait away . Can anybody recommend any other companies?

Plus amlin valued her at a lot more than u thought she was worth

Just rung nfu and they will only insure up too the purchase price

I think I am correct in saying all insurance will only insure for purchase price - you need to show and justify why the horse has escalated in value ie. winnings, gradings etc

not necessarily - I have increased the value of my horses without being asked any questions and that is with PetPlan.

If your horse is that valuable you might be better off speaking to a bloodstock insurance broker than a standard insurance company, like Lycetts but there are several others?
