Hillary Vernon bits

Oops...sorry posted this in the competition riders section first then realised this was probably a better place!

Does anyone use the Hillary vernon Bits? I'm looking at the loose ring mullen mouth? I really do like the look of them but they are a lot of money to shell out if it doesn't suit my pony

Hilary is very experienced when it comes to bits, so I'm sure they'll be good, but, they are a bit pricey
