Any feedback, good or bad on the above would be gratefully received- I've never really tried giving herbal remedies however am thinking of trying the above for my first pony who's 25! and has Cushings.

She has also had Sinus probs- def not tooth related as normally is the case- has been on antibiotics inc Baytril and also an Immune booster, its much better that it was however was thinking of feeding some herbs for this as well- was thinking of Freeway liquid or Pulsatilla- ahve any of you used this or any other herbal remedies for the above conditions?
(I'm not 100% convinced about herbs- can any of you persuade me!!??)..........

Many thanks and Merry Christmas!

I haven't used those particular ones but I always use Hilton Herbs supplements as I believe they're the best on the market. Hilary Self who set up the company is a qualified human herbalist who branched out into horses and other animals. She really knows her stuff and their products are brilliant.

Their advice line is very very helpful and informative so I highly recommend you give them a ring and they'll tell you everything you need to know.

Thank you for the info- I called Hilton Herbs this morning and they were very helpful!-

I may give the herbs a try!

I have used CushX with my 26 year old Cushings Horse and he is doing ok, however I have now become a bit of a supplement 'junky' as he is on Newmarket Joint Supplement / CushX / CopperTrition and Equisup .... absolutely amazing as I was someone who never fed supplements until 2 years ago .... I will not take him off CushX as I would not like to tempt fate ... however I am certain that the Pergolide is the one that does the trick

I tried cush x for my 8 y/o mare. It was a total waste of money in our case I'm afraid. The only good thing about it was the container it came in which is now my travelling water butt!
