No but I've tried another well known producer of herbs guaranteed to support various horse parts and it would have saved time if I'd chucked it straight onto the muck heap. Voodoo. Witchcraft. Codswallop. I have my "cynical" hat on tonight so please excuse me but if any of these products actually did what the tubs claim, 90% of vets would be out of work. They don't and they aren't, in that order. {{Goes off to hunt for grumbly, crabby, penniless smiley with face like a bulldog that's swallowed a wasp}}
excuse me for asking this but are you 100% sure its navicular i only ask this as i was told by two vets my horse had this i used simlar stuff but no difference but found out it was collartral ligament damage which is right close to navicular area and same symtoms tripping lame on circle
Hi Tracyann, yes sadly we do know for definite as it was diagnosed by MRI. According to the vets true navicular disease involving the bone is actually quite rare nowadays.
They said it is more often than not exactly like your horse. My friends horse also went for MRI with suspected navicular & it turned out to be a tear in the deep digital tendon within the foot.
