Hind Fetlock

My horse came in from the field lame on Monday night so I have stabled him and he doesnt appear to be lame anymore. However his hind fetlock is lumpy and there is a scab forming. prior to this his fetlock was puffy but I thought it was a windgall. Going to get the vet out but any ideas while im waiting would be gratefully recieved.

He could have cut it and the swelling would have been the lymph fluid moving to the site where it is needed. As the cut has healed, the swelling did too.

Its sensible to get the vet out just to be on the safe side if nothing else.
