i have a gorgeous 5 year old 15.1hh tri-coloured lightweight irish cob. he is at least county level, if not more. i have only had him 3 months and he has gone lame right hind. he has had nerve bloks at fetlock, hock, stifle, hip and sacroiliac - still lame. he has had pelvic ultrasound - all ok. bone scan revealed minor hot spots on right hock, stifle and sacroiliac so x-rays done. vet diagnosed bone spavin so he had steriod inj into hock joint - 7 days later still lame so vet now says prob is higher. now on 2g bute per day until vet comes out on 15th aug. lunged 3 days ago and he still lame on left rein but sound on right!! had this horse vetted and showed no lameness so what is going on? thought he was 7 when i bought him and since found out hes only 5!! he is so lovely i will spend whatever it takes but am up to 5K in vet bills with no dignoses. would love to hear from anyone who has had similar experience. He is now 15.2hh so could it be growing pains?? Had my
