Creature is presenting lame on his hind. He dips his bum even in walk. :( I'm getting the physio out in case he needs pelvic realignment. Has anyone had this done with their horse? What was the outcome?

Your horse is obviously lame even in walk? You need a vet.

By law, any physio you call should refuse to even come to see a lame horse until it has been diagnosed by a vet.

The more lame they become the more likely the problem is in the foot.

I would always eliminate the foot before throwing money at 'back man' etc

hi, my horse was lame on hind leg last year (may 2011) only when coming down hill slightly. was sound on lunge and trotting up. had back and saddle checked and all fine, decided to take to rod fisher(seen a leg specialist there Emma) and after a few days of tests it was discovered he had a little tear in a ligament, (hocks were xrayed and fine). the outcome was inhand walking for 5 weeks then started riding on the roads in august. touch wood he is fine and back in school work now, having a rescan in 2 weeks. this mite help!
