My young tb mare came in yesterday after being out at night and her back legs filled slightly when I returned later in the day, didn't think too much of it with standing in and being hot.
Turned her out last night and they are still puffy this morning, they have been put into a rested part of their field the past two nights so not sure of grass can do this although I got her in May And had her on fresh grass then.
Also could it be the alfalfa based feed that she is on?

It will possibly be the fact that she wasn't moving much when in. As long as they go down shortly after being turned out or exercised its nothing to worry about x

Mine came in a few weeks ago after being out overnight with 4 puffy legs. It was just after some of the crazy weather so I put it down to a grass flush. Kept cold hosing and working her and they went down in a day or so

Thanks that is handy to know, i rested some of their field for a week and let them into it night before last so that would tie in
