Nowt to do with hippo's!
Help from USA peeps especially appreciated
Am in my final year in Uni and one of my dissertations (Yes I have to write two as it is joint honours... fun hey.. ) I'm writing is about the benefits of Hippotherapy on children with cerebal palsy .. Now what I am wondering (as I cannot find a lot of documentation on it!) is the cost of this in America? can you claim on Health Insurance? How many centres are there? I have tried contacting the American Hippotherapy Association but no joy..
I know Hippotherapy is VERY popular in the USA and Europe (especially Germany and the Netherlands) but not so popular in the UK , we tend to go more for therapeutic riding for some reason..
Was wondering if anyone has had experience of this or maybe helped out at a group?
