try ringing your hunt secretary as a first port of call - they usually will know who does hirelings within the country

I know short notice, I was taking a friends but it has now decided to put itself out of action for a while. Bad pony!

There's a guy called Ryan Crumley (I think) but he's in West Sussex. Not had personal experience with him, just was thinking of hiring something myself for later on in the year.

You will be very lucky to geta horse for the boxing day meet at this short notice, we have been booked up and full since the start of this season, and have a reserves list long as your arm. You need to call the hunt sec. and she will give you the local hirelings number.
