Can anyone tell me whats the average for a hireling? Would love to treat my friend to a day, just don't/can't pay the earth for it?

With the Surrey Union is it £125 for a day.
With the Cheshire Forrest it is circa £150 for a day.
I don't know about Dorset area but the prices should be around that mark.

With us, The R&WH Hunt - it goes from £80 upwards.
On a thoroughly honest horse which jumps and has brakes.
DO NOT let any Yards rip you off.
I very often pay for a day for a friend as a Birthday Present et al. If you are known, you should be able to make a deal with the Livery Yard.
