Hello everyone, we would like to hire out a sand school we own to a nearby stables on a monthly fee basis - does anyone know what the going rate might be?

It would depend on the number of horses at the stables and the amount of use your school would have. For example is it a riding stable with constant lessons?

I think it will depend on the size & quality of your surface - along with the demand.
Also worth factoring in insurance costs if you don't already have a policy in place.

Depends on the arena really and what sort of deal you might want to make. I can hire my local pretty shabby tbh 20x40 arena with not a great surface for £8 an hour. Its about 90% free of any other horses so can use it whenever apart from lesson days, a much further one is only £10 p/h but has an amazing new fibre surface, full set of SJ and is 30x60 but its very busy so can be harder to get. They are quite cheap in my mind. The next yard over has an indoor thats ok for £15 p/h again can be hard to get and you are likely to be disturbed and have to share it.
