Ok so new horse who for the last 6 weeks has been an absolute star, forgot himself on sunday, and showed that he can be a bundle of mischief!!

After a really nice hack with my daughter on board, a couple of lovely canters and some confidence restored, she decided at very short notice that she would like to do the local picnic ride on him. So muggins here drew the short straw and said i would walk the route with her.
Off we all went, My boy in front, behaving like a gent. Horse trotted past him, and he was on his toes a little but didn't do anything wrong, and soon settled again.
On the way back a load of endurance riders came past and again, he got a little giddy, but no fireworks!!
Finished ride, and was very pleased with him. Let him munch grass while we all had picnic. Daughter remounted, to head home. Saw some boys she knows on park, so was showing off to them, Max must have decided this was great fun, and once she had revved him up, they cantered past me, when i told her to pull up, she said she couldn't!!
They went round and round the country park full steam ahead...

As he headed back towards me, he pulled up with a big grin on his face, as if to say "hehe, she wanted to show off, so I did!!" She was totally unimpressed, but as i told her, she caused the problem, and maybe she had learnt a lesson from it.
I have to say it was a little scary, but can laugh about it now.
