Did you like what I did there? The lyrics are "her name is Rio and she...". So Vito, instead of Rio, and the Olympics were in Rio, so it's all topical and everything, and I swapped "Rio" for "Vito" and then.... see, geddit? Anyway.....

Less dancing on the sand and more meandering round suburban car parks with half-naked men in hot pursuit, but here he is, nonetheless, VITO!!!

OMG V, what on earth did you do to get the hospital stay?! No one could accuse you of having a boring life...! x

Still not sure more tests to come. Not horse-related, though. Possibly something Crohn's-like.

I to would like to know this.
Question - do you go out looking for trouble just to fill your blog or are you really so far on the wrong side or fate and lady luck?

Haha! Well. 1. I do a lot. The more you do, the more chance there is that something will happen to you. Of course you'll get a flat tyre one day if you do enough miles. 2. I'm on the gung-ho side and I have a high appetite for the ridiculous. So I will go ahead in circumstances that others may not go ahead in, which means more potential for stuff to go wrong. 3. I probably present a skewed picture in my blogs, because I write about the funny stuff! Nobody wants to read about how I got up and had jam and toast for breakfast... Or maybe they do?!

Lovely to hear Vito is back, that's awesome news. Bring on first world two horse problems eh. You gotta get yourself back in full working order now, hope it's nothing serious!

I third the hospital enquiry. I am so happy Vito is back!

More detail please.... :-)

He is!

What sort of jam? White, wholemeal or fancy bread. Details are important.[/QUOTE

Well... today I had (I hate myself) buckwheat porrridge with soya milk. Went horrifically wrong. Sticking to Nutella from now.

Loved the post! Hope you feel better soon, or at least get to the bottom of whatever the problem is. Sounds awful :D

Thank you!!

VITO VITO VITO, he's back! But we need some pictures of the main man....
I hope you get yourself fixed up asap X

I've only got pictures of him being accosted by my kids!

Oh wow, I do love your blogs, thank you for the fabulous writing which had me spitting out coffee at my desk reading about the two men in the car !

do hope you are OK though and sending healing vibes - look forward to hearing more updates very soon!!!!

High flying lawyer or not, I'd give you a telling off if you removed your own cannula under my care!!!! Hope you are feeling better soon, bowel type disorders are horrible xxx

I love your first world problem with your two horses. I joke about this too with friends as I have the same god awful issue' which one to ride and how to ride it!' Ridiculously spoilt.

I was at Horseheath and was excited to see that you were there as well, but we were in different classes so totally different times/days obviously, as I don't jump as high as you. Anyway, I would love to have actually seen/stalked you and Vito, made famous through HHO. A real pair of celebs.

Yes, always need some naked men about when changing tyres.

So pleased Vito is back, bet you are made up :)

Yes!

That sounds horrid, I hope you get answers soon. Good to hear that Vito is feeling well though :D

Thanks!

I didn't remove it - because I thought it was a needle and I don't like them and I was concerned I'd break it off in my arm or something. But then I asked the nurse to show me what it was and all it was was a little plastic tube. So I reckon I could have pulled it out without doing too much damage.

I wasn't doing anything too dramatic at HH - would have been nice to meet you!

Hang on, how were you in hospital?
So did you get Vito to the event? Glad to see him back.

I'm not sure! But yes, I did.

Glad to hear he's back! Now if you could spare some of that luck and send it my way I'd be eternally grateful!! I own 2 horses and I've still managed to miss the entire season!! Roll on 2017!

Thank you!

What?! No, why?

My big horse who damaged his SDFT in 2013 bust again in Aug last year after Aston with a manica flexora tear, was sound and then went lame again in March, no idea why as nothing on the scans so he's turned away for a year as I don't know what else to do. The youngster purchased to have fun on this season as big lad out of action went lame in March with undiagnosed lameness, 3 months off now sound but since then we've had a fractured tooth requiring surgery and now he's about 2-3 weeks off starting jumping again and he's been kicked out hacking, requiring xrays and yet more time off and light work. I seriously just give up on 2016!
