History wanted for Comrade Catatonic

Hi, I own this old boy-currently 27/28. I have owned him since 2006. I am trying to trace his breeding or any other info. I know the names of his previous owners apart from the first 4 years of his life. He was in warwickshire from 4-7 and was called The Musketeer and I have spoken to that owner. He then went to Northamptonshire and 3 day evented until 1994 approx when he was sold on and in 1999 went to a riding school in Sudborough, Northants-which is where I met him and subsequently took him on. He is now retired. I have found a document which lists his breeding as out of Annies Girl by Current Magic however the only Annies Girl I can find wasnt born until after him!! Since the first owner I contacted told me she had him from his breeder but had no recollection of his breeding I am doubting this. I would love to know any more info about him. Its quite an unusual name so hoping someone may remember him. I am interested in anything at all about him.

I found an Annie's Girl born 1992
Current Magic born 1970

You could try looking to find Current Magic's owner/yard and ask if they have records still dating back to when your horse was born and if they can help track down his original name

Hi, Yes-sorry!! He's a bay 3/4(maybe 7/8) TB gelding. Born in 1985-which makes that particular Annies Girl unable to be his dam. I did look up the info for her and Current Magic. He does have a freezemark which is 666Z but I know who had that done and it was after he was 4 years old. I recieved paperwork with him which listed all his owners from 1989 to 1999. I probably will never know anymore than I do about him!! I've just mamnaged to find a company that has footage of him eventing between 1992 and 1994-so looking forward to that!
