Hi,

I own a 17hh dark bay IDx who I've owned nearly 11 years.

Looking for anyone who knew him before me as would love to know his breeding and where he spent his first 10 years.

His name is Yogi and I bought him in 2003 from someone who bought him from Ron Brady's yard in Saline, Fife. He was supposed to have been a livery there, competing BSJA.

He would of been quite distinctive as he had a partially paralysed larynx, which made him very noisy when cantering and jumping.

Would love any information on him as he is my horse of a lifetime. I bought him as an IDxHan although I never got his passport with him so I have no proof of this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't know what name he was jumped under as I didn't get his passport at the time of buying him. If anyone remembers his name I could then do that.

Is it worth asking Ron Brady if he remembers anything about Yogi? Bit of a long shot but you never know!

Only other suggestion would be to take get a couple of photos and post it on some of the central scotland/fife facebook sites - someone is more likely to recognise him from a photo than a description.

Best of luck
