So Daisy had an allergic reaction on Thursday night and ended up covered in gives and with a very swollen face and jowls. She had steroids on Friday morning which reduced the hives but she's still very itchy, face is still slightly swollen and she has developed loads of saggy skin under her neck. Does anyone have any experience admit his long for these things to return to normal?

Photos from day of and morning after.

On her second photo it looks li,e she was stung on the face( snout).
her steroids should kick in within 24 hours...if she’s still itchy I would apply an antihistamine cream to the bumps,on her face.

i want,to add..
past experience. My rottweiller was stung on the face by a large hornet ,in USA.Within minutes her face swelled like a bear and she was going into anaphylactic shock..the steroid injection was given within 45 mins and had a rapid effect..
my second experience ..bee sting with st poodle pup...I gave bentelan tablets...swelling went down within two hours.
Third experience ...allergic hives in dogue de Bordeaux...diet had to be changed...dog was allergic to chicken.

I hope your lovely dog is back on track soon.
