Hi i went for a job interview today and i need some reasurence for 5 1/2 days 7-5-5.30 1hr lunch 30min breakfast and another 2 30min breaks for £150 cash in hand but tax not included.??????

That's a lot of days for not very much money. Is it a working pupil or apprentice type position? Otherwise I'm sure that must be below minimum wage. Personally I would keeo looking.
 
That's rubbish, it works out to around 3.40 per hour, well below minimum wage, plus you would then need to pay your NI, tax, etc. It also depends what sort of job it is as well as to whether it would legitimately be seen as self employed job, to be honest, working somewhere 5.5 days per week suggests not - especially if it is something like bar work or waitressing, which would then lead me to ask what else are they not doing legitmately, health & safety, etc.

I'm guessing it's work as a groom? Have heard of wages that low - as said above, 'tis below minimum wage. You'd be better off working in Tescos, and you'd get sick pay and 4 weeks paid holiday, which you def won't get in the job you're describing.
